The Joshua Wildcats Pathfinder club is holding its 23rd Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Live Auction on Saturday November 18, 2017 starting at 6:30pm, and we need your help.
The Joshua Pathfinder club is operating as a free club to its members, allowing everyone to participate in all activities. The club is supported by donations, and this auction represents the largest fundraising event we hold annually.
This year, the Joshua Pathfinder club has supported hurricane relief efforts in Beaumont, being among the first responders with food and water donations. The efforts still continue today, as the club has adopted the Beaumont Texas area as its mission for the year. We are continuing to raise funds to help families that lost all personal possessions replace their home furniture. While the auction proceeds are not going directly to the effort, they do support the club itself with its many other activities and operational costs.
Money is raised by sales of the dinner tickets, and by auctioning off goods and services that have been donated for the event.
To purchase tickets for the auction, please contact any member of the pathfinder club, or purchase tickets online. Tickets will be sold at the door for the same price.
Dinner Tickets: $10.00
If you are unable to attend the auction, please consider making a donation to support our Youth Ministry.
The Adventist Community Services (ACS) has been delivering clothing and flood buckets to the greater Houston area since last week. ACS has years of experience with dealing with Floods, and based on that front-line knowledge, they have developed the ideal cleanup kit. The Joshua Pathfinder Club has taken their cleanup kit, and added a few additional items, which will be noted below. The fundraising effort that we are undertaking will not drain the resources, or remove any supply from the existing ACS effort. We will be sourcing all of our product separately, to ensure that we do not affect the efforts of ACS. We are keeping our costs exactly the same as ACS @ $50.00 per bucket. Please Donate now as we want to purchase the items Thursday September 7, 2017.
The following Items are packed into a 5-gallon bucket with a re-sealable lid:
- Household Cleaner: One 16-24 oz. bottle
- Dish washing Soap: One 14-20 oz. bottle
- 4-6 Scrubber sponges
- 2 Scrub Brushes (one for floors)
- 6-8 Cleaning Towels (reusable wipes)
- 2-5 Dust Masks (N-95 preferred)
- 1 Pair Latex or Non-Latex Kitchen Gloves
- 5 Pair Disposable Latex or Non-Latex Gloves
- 1 Pair Work Gloves

In addition to the standard supplies ACS provides, Joshua Pathfinders are adding the following items:

These cleaning supplies enable disaster survivors to begin the overwhelming job of cleanup.
To ensure the consistency, and to accommodate the short time window, we are negotiating with vendors for bulk wholesale purchasing. The kits will be delivered in the master carton to be assembled at the distribution point using the volunteer labor there. We are asking for cash / credit card donations now to make this effort successful.
